WHICH ARE THE PURCHASE EXPENSES?

When buying a property in Spain, you need to consider that associated costs will be in the region of 10-12% of the purchase price. This percentage may be broken-down as follows:

- Solicitors’ fees (1%) - only in the event of being represented by a solicitor.

- Notary & Land Registry fees (1%).

- Stamp duty (only for new constructions) (1,5%).

- VAT for new constructions (10%) o Transfer tax in the event of resale properties (8-10%).
